Real-time control.
Multi-market value.

OnGrid ACS gives asset owners, existing VPP control centers and aggregators a scalable operational trader gateway to run distributed energy assets in real time and capture value across energy markets.

How to Maximize Profit

– by Staying Ahead of Market Change, Regulatory Shifts and Cyber Risk

Profit in European electricity markets increasingly depends on how quickly market participants adapt to changing economics, evolving regulatory frameworks and rising operational risk.

As renewable penetration continues to reshape market economics, value creation increasingly depends on flexibility, faster decisions and stronger portfolio optimisation.

At the same time, MARI and PICASSO are reshaping European balancing, while the upcoming Network Code on Demand Response will further expand the regulatory framework for flexibility, storage and distributed generation. In parallel, the Network Code on Cybersecurity, NIS2 and the CER Directive are raising the bar for resilience, governance and operational security across Europe’s critical energy infrastructure.

A large-scale attack could take out large swaths of the power grid for days and even weeks in some parts of the given country or countries.

We understand the potential impact of cyberattacks on power generation, transmission, and distribution.

The EU power system is the largest interconnected system in the world. Any of the system’s principal elements – power generation, transmission, or distribution –could be targeted for a cyberattack.

By leveraging our expertise can minimize the risk of cyber-related outages.

Our goal is to help asset owners, existing VPP control centers and aggregators stay commercially agile, compliance-ready and operationally resilient as the European power market continues to evolve.

Stay ahead of market dynamics that affect balancing revenues, flexibility value and portfolio profitability.

What is OnGrid ACS

OnGrid ACS gives asset owners, existing VPP control centers and aggregators a scalable operational trader gateway to run distributed energy assets in real time and capture value across energy markets — increasing business value for both established and emerging market players. With a pay-as-you-grow pricing model, the platform scales as your portfolio grows.

The Platform

OnGrid ACS is a utility-grade SCADA platform for the real-time operation of heterogeneous generation portfolios, built to bring distributed assets into multi-market participation with maximum flexibility.

Technology

Built on a redundant Kubernetes-based orchestration layer and independently deployable microservices, OnGrid ACS is designed for high resilience, operational continuity and scalable performance.

Preconfigured edge devices enable rapid site deployment, extending reliable control across distributed assets with minimal implementation time.

Security by Design

OnGrid ACS is aligned with IEC 62443-4-1 and IEC 62443-4-2, embedding secure product development lifecycle practices and component-level security requirements into the platform architecture.

Our Pricing model

OnGrid ACS follows a pay-as-you-grow pricing model designed to align platform costs with the commercial growth of your portfolio. This approach gives customers a scalable entry point while supporting long-term expansion across new assets, sites and market opportunities.

License fees

License fees are based on the total installed AC max power of the portfolio operated by the customer.

Pricing is structured in max power bands, and when a portfolio grows beyond a given threshold, the fee increases only for the max power above that threshold.

Scalable commercial model without penalising portfolio growth.

License fees are not linked to the number of connected sites. Customers can expand across multiple locations without a site-count-driven license structure.

Support fees

Support fees are structured according to two SLA levels, allowing customers to choose the service model that best matches their operational requirements.

The applicable support level depends both on the customer’s preferred SLA coverage and on the size of the portfolio being operated through the platform.

One-time datacenter commissioning fee

A one-time datacenter commissioning fee applies to the initial setup of the central platform environment.

This covers the initial deployment and commissioning of the core system required to bring the customer environment into operation.

Fixed per-site onboarding fee

Each connected site is subject to a fixed per-site onboarding fee.

This fee covers the site integration process and includes the cost of the required edge devices, ensuring a standardised and efficient rollout model across distributed assets.

This structure is designed to provide commercial transparency, operational scalability and a predictable path for portfolio growth. Instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all pricing model, OnGrid ACS supports expansion in a way that remains aligned with the customer’s actual business development.

Our Customers

Asset Owners, EPC and O&M

From project planning to post-commissioning, OnGrid ACS gives asset owners, Engineering-Procurement-Construction and Operation & Maintenance Companies a faster route to market participation. Its trader gateway model helps avoid long-term dependency on a single aggregator or trader, giving owners the flexibility to change commercial partners as their strategy evolves. For larger asset owners, it also creates a strategic platform for building in-house aggregator — or even trader — capabilities over time.

VPP Control Centers

Many existing VPP control centers still rely on legacy SCADA environments that are difficult to extend, harder to secure and poorly suited to integrating new asset types without compromise. OnGrid ACS offers a state-of-the-art alternative designed for modern portfolio expansion, stronger operational resilience and more efficient alignment with MARI and PICASSO requirements.

Aggregators

For both established and emerging aggregators, OnGrid ACS provides a modern, scalable and robust platform that significantly shortens the path to acquiring and onboarding new customers. It is built to support efficient alignment with MARI and PICASSO requirements, while creating a strong foundation for future market opportunities, including flexibility markets. At the same time, it delivers industrial-grade security, resilience and scalability for long-term growth.
