Asimily rolls out Segmentation Orchestration to automate network policy enforcement for connected devices

In brief

Asimily has launched Segmentation Orchestration, a new capability designed to automate network policy enforcement for connected devices across IoT, OT, IoMT and IT environments. The tool identifies and classifies devices, maps their communications, prioritises risky assets and recommends segmentation policies based on actual network behaviour rather than assumptions. Asimily says this addresses a common problem in segmentation projects: organisations may understand what needs to be protected, but struggle to translate visibility into enforceable and continuously maintained policies without disrupting operations.

The platform uses AI, deep packet inspection, ecosystem integrations and attack-path analysis to build device inventories, assess vulnerabilities and generate policies in formats compatible with NAC and firewall systems. It also allows teams to simulate policy changes before deployment, apply them through integrations and APIs, and continuously adjust them as devices, configurations and network topologies change. Asimily presents the capability as a way to reduce lateral movement risk while making better use of existing security infrastructure, especially as AI-driven attacks increase the pressure on manual security processes.
